The course offers an introduction to sex, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Students will learn term definitions, explore social perspectives on these subjects, and get introduced to the impact of discrimination. This knowledge will be applied to improving massage and bodywork practices in order to make them more safe and inclusive to LGTBQIA+ clients.
